Loving Eyes Foundation is committed to providing support along this difficult process, we do recommend first looking at commercially available options. While the Loving Eyes Foundation offers glasses that are 100% customizable to a person's anatomy, commercially available glasses are more durable, easy to replace, and present more styles and colors. Most patients with mild craniofacial differences can find well-fitting glasses and should first consider trying commercially available glasses.
Our process is more complex and takes longer than what patients may be used to when picking up a pair of commercially available glasses at their local optical dispensary. To be successful, we rely on strong involvement from patients, parents, and referring physicians.
Here are a few commercially available options we recommend:
Spokiz Suh-Hermsen Microtia Glasses: Eyewear and unique straps for children with microtia and other facial abnormalities
Dilli Dalli Eyewear ™ Tomato Glasses ™ Zenni-Kids' Flexible Glasses ™ Solo Bambini ™
Nano Vista ™ Fitz Frames™ Safilo Kids Eyeglasses ™ Specs4us: Erin's World Frames ™
